How to put a site online and make money from it?

Before designing your website and putting it online you have to first plan it all out. For example, you will need to think of what topic your site will be based on. You will also have to think of how your site will make you money and also how competitive the market is, which you will be approaching.

Once you have done all of your planning your will then need to design your site. There are many good tutorials around on the web that will help you in designing your website. Once you have designed your website you will then need to consider, which web hosting provider you are going to use for your website. There is a large amount of different type of web hosting providers across the web. Some are very good and reliable and some are not so good or reliable.

4. Pay other sites so that they can include your link on theirs
5. Use Pay Per Click Search Engines include Adwords

Once you have done all of the above you will then need to keep working on improving parts of your site that is under performing and also finding out ways of doing things better to increase your sites visitors and earnings even further.

So you want a profitable website. You do a search on Google and find 56,293,580 websites that will tell you how to go about creating your business. Everyone promises the moon. You start clicking on links and what do you find?

Everyone wants to sell you something!

Their special ebook that will tell you all the answers. Or, if you buy their software, you will be making money tomorrow. Join their membership website for X amount of dollars per month and you will have all the information you need. RIGHT!

I know how you feel, I searched and searched for that one person or program that would actually help me and not take all my money in the process. I tried to go it alone and built many websites. All of them were failures. So I searched again for the help I needed. I never found the website I was looking for. But I did figure out how to do it.

What did I do?

First I started examining all the websites that were on Google's first search results page. I studied and disected these websites. I tried to look for those few things that all these websites had in common.

Then, I downloaded every free ebook I could get my hands on. The writers of these ebooks were trying to sell me the next big trick but each one had some good, helpful information.

Next I joined 27 newsletters and ezines and spend months reading. Most of these newsletters tried to sell me things too, but they couldn't just send out ads, everyone would quit their newsletter. So in order for these ezine owners to keep their readers, they had to give some valuable free information. I took notes and read some more.

I eventually had an entire notebook full of information. That was when I thought I would try out all this new information so I built a website. I used all the tricks I had learned and in about a month, I made $590.45. Yes, it's true, you can build a profitable website without spending all your savings.

I realize $590.45 doesn't make me a millionaire but it's a good start. I have since built three more websites, all of them bringing in more and more money each month. $590.45 was just a drop in the bucket but you have to start somewhere.

Was it hard? No, not really. I do have to warn you though. It does take work. You don't rent some web space and fill it full of links and make money. It takes time and effort.

If you are still reading this article, there is a good chance that you are one of the few who will succeed. Most people would have stopped reading when I mentioned I was taking notes.

There is one big secret to building a money making website. It really isn't even a secret, it's just the answer you must have or you will never get anywhere. You have to write content. No one will visit your website if you don't have any information for them to read.

Most web surfers don't research topics on the internet looking for things to buy. The purchase, is a by product of a good recommendation from a trusted webmaster. You will have to create your information web site and offer compelling content. Once the visitor believes you actually know what you are talking about, they will probably decide to use your recommendation and make a purchase from your links.

If you can read and write, you can have a profitable website. If you are looking for a get rich quick scheme, you are on the wrong side of the table. The only people who get rich from those schemes are the ones selling them. By the way, what did they do to get you to look at their product? That's right! Even scammers have to write content.

If you are willing to do the time and put in some effort, you can make money. That's the only way to make money online. Don't let anyone tell you different, all they want is your money.

7 Effective Homepage Tips that will have your Visitors Begging for More!

The truth is how you present your website will determine how customers view you and your product. This can directly translate into how effective your website actually is and whether or not you get alot of sales or just a few. Think of it this way. Whenever you go into a store you usually always go in from the front entrance, not the side or the back, but the front. Just like when people visit your website, they probably always come in from the home page and go around your site. Sometimes they may come in from another link to one of your subpage but trust me they will jump on your front page to check it out and rightly so.

The front page is where all of the best information should be. Now this is not to say that your subpages as useless and that there shouldn't be valuable information on them. I am just saying that the main page should contain timbits of all the valuable information located throughout your site. Usually your front page is the main attraction and includes features and elements that your subpages won't have. It is almost like a "wow page" full of rich content.

Here are some tips on how to impress your visitors as soon as they get to your site:

Tip Number 1: Offer something to the visitor as soon as they get to your site:
-This is important to really grab a visitors attention. Some things you may want to put at the top or near the top of your site are free offers like "free ebook" or "free domain" ect...

Tip Number 2: Give them content that is updated daily:
-Make sure you have content on your front page that is updated daily. This will not only give them something to look forward to every day but it will show that your site is updated often and gives them a reason to keep coming back.

Tip Number 3: Showcase new and featured product:
-Showcasing products on the front page will immediately get visitors interested on what you are offering. It will help show them what your site is about as well as it will make them want to browse more of your e-store.

Tip Number 4: Add highlights from other parts of your website:
Add little bits of info from your subpages to give them a view of what your site contains. For example if your site has an article section post a few new articles each day.

Tip Number 5: Offer sales and discounts on your front page:
Offering discounts and coupons will definitely get people interested in what you are selling. Saving money and getting a good deal is always a good reason to look around and purchase something off of your site. Make sure the sales can be seen clearly and do have an expiration date that you stick to.

Tip Number 6: Add content that is only specific for your front page:
-Another great thing to do is offer content that can only be found on your front page. This will give your visitors even more content to choose from without having to view it on every page. Some things you may just have on the front page are tips, news headlines or article samples.

Tip Number 7: Don't post full stories or articles on the front page but timbits of them so they click through your site:
-Whenever you are posting articles or stories on the front page make sure to post only a sample of the article. Include a "click here for more" link so that they can view the whole article. This will interest them more will have them going to new parts of your website. It will also help keep your front page from being cluttered.
