A Scissor lift is a platform that can usually move vertically. The mechanism for achieving this is to use a linked folding bracket in cross-sectional X mode, called scissors. Upwork movement is achieved by applying pressure to the layer of the lowest support, the length movement is achieved by applying pressure to the outer layer of the lowest support, the length of the cross mode, and the vertical propulsion work platform. The platform can also have an extended deck that allows for closer proximity to the work area due to the inherent limitations of vertical movement.
